Have you looked at the qualifications of the new Loudoun coach? Hard to say that he is not strong. Most importantly the 2007 Loudoun girls are happy on their team. The few that left did not leave because of the coach or team. They were lured by FCV’s promises related to college looks. We are happy for them.

I heard they were lured away by a 07 parent doing FCVs bidding. And it’s not the person that’s been mentioned.

This time I don’t think it’s the dad mentioned above or the one we suspect.

I heard it is the dad of the 07 player who also guest plays with the 06 team. He is trying to surround his daughter with more talent and has been working hard at doing such.

LOL - only took two posts for Loudoun posters to get back to gossiping about the mysterious Svengali parent recruiter(s) who pay no fees, lure players away from surrounding clubs, get players invites to YNT camps and tool around Ashburn in St James provided Lambos.

This is a Loudoun parent. My DD is on the 2007 team. It is a strong team and the two new Arlington additions look great. Very solid players. Made us all wonder what Arlington did to lose them. Next year will be a good year.

You are also getting another player from a neighboring team. I'm told her dad is a real winner. Supposedly it will be her 3rd team in 4 years. Source says Dad always looking for greener pastures even though player is basically a mid-tear player who complains a whole lot if she's not getting the ball. Something tells me Dad will ultimately ruin this player, if not already. Good luck with that incoming drama.

I'll wait for confirmation for Adam Schefter.

This is 100% true. Cant get time at md united or bsc so she goes there. A big guy follower. Crazy parent. He will fit in well on the sideline. Too bad in a lot of ways. Kid is a great person just not top level

Do the kids that are on this team know about this thread? I can't imagine the horror reading about your own team, and then seeing some of the parents faces at the field.

Player mentioned is from Bethesda. This player and another Bethesda Player first tried to join FCV. Due to the parent behavior of BOTH players, FCV did not give them offers. One player stayed at Bethesda and the other accepted Loudoun offer. New Loudoun player is above mid-tier and a good addition. Can confirm, 3rd Club in four years. If father does not calm down, he can and will cause drama. He is often seen hanging with Lavar Ball at tournaments.

Anonymous wrote:Coach of Loudoun 2007 G ECNL team is top notch. We know the girls who left Loudoun forFCV personally. None of them have anything but positive things to say about Phil. These girls wanted the FCV path of intense college visibility. Phil has been very kind and supportive. Very nice guy and strong coach. He is bringing on a number of new players. They seem strong especially two players from Arlington. One girl we have been watching for years and she is a powerhouse. Arlington must not have treated families well to lose that family.

This is absolutely true. He’s a gentleman and understands that player movement whether by parent or player is part of the game. My daughter was offered a spot and we could not do it because of the drive but had zero to do with the coach or team. Wonderful girls too

I don’t think anyone could possibly know enough of any truth to post specifically about one player or parent. I know the player and parent mentioned and despite 3 clubs in 4 years, it has nothing to do with greener pastures and everything to do with the family moving closer to Loudoun and they have a personal situation logistically that needs to be addressed.

How is this team going to do in the playoffs? Will they go deep? Honest question. They beat FCV in Jeff Cup I heard but how will they do on a broader scale

You must have missed the tens of threads that devolved into Loudoun parents gloating about the alleged demise of FCV. Super classy. And super wrong. But hope lives eternal.

OP, it is not a Bethesda player that was referenced. I suppose it is normal for "some parents" to continuously shop around, while said child slowly drowns as a result of it.

Adam, perhaps better sources are needed.

I can 100% confirm an 07 player is moving from Bethesda to Loudoun. It will in fact be her third club in a few years. Sounds like Loudoun may be getting two players with a similar background. The player I am speaking of will be missed for her talents. The father, well...

Adams has confirmed, at least 2 players under similar circumstances.
