OP, it is not a Bethesda player that was referenced. I suppose it is normal for "some parents" to continuously shop around, while said child slowly drowns as a result of it.

I can 100% confirm an 07 player is moving from Bethesda to Loudoun. It will in fact be her third club in a few years. Sounds like Loudoun may be getting two players with a similar background. The player I am speaking of will be missed for her talents. The father, well...

about parents. I don’t show up to watch parents - I watch games and players. It’s nice when you can share a sideline with people you like but at the end of the day when all these kids go off to school, you’ll see your soccer friends on the bleachers will be a memory except for a strong 1 or two

I agree. The sport is not about the sideline parents.

Loudoun is tied in PPG with Mclean in ECNL girls mid Atlantic conference. Mclean is #1 because they have more GF, but both teams have won 10 and lost 2 games. These are clearly the top two teams in this conference. While FCV goes to GAL playoffs Loudoun will go to ECNL nationals. Both are good teams with a lot of talent. Next year will be fun to watch with Arlington entering ECNL. No one expectS Arlington 2007 to do well. They are a bad age group for Arlington like 2005. The strong 2007 players will leave or will plan to leave because no one wants to stay on a team with that record. 2004, 2006 and 2008 girls Arlington are competitive so will be good competition in those age groups when they enter ECNL next year.

They just defend the whole game, they know they have less talent and smaller player pool to choose from so play a defensive style of soccer

Depends on where you’re from. Heard SC people say the latter
