Those kids won’t do it here because they know they can’t get away with it. Antifa are opportunists and do their performances in cities where the authorities don’t care about their citizens.

Antifa destroys other people’s property because in some areas they can. Portland, Seattle, maybe a couple others let them get away with it. They know they can’t get away with it in DC, so I wouldn’t worry about that happening here, especially since Biden won. That means they are left to chanting and clever sloganeering. Occupy Wall Street died out, so will antifa.
Also, they destroy the property of others because none look responsible enough to own property themselves much less even hold down regular employment at something besides occasional barista.

Wait, so what was it when Bowser was pressuring the US Attorneys' Office to prosecute people for rioting even though that office felt like they couldn't actually make cases against them? What was it when the city pursued charges against the inauguration protesters for years despite not having the evidence to secure a single conviction? DC has been desperate to put someone, anyone, in jail for left wing protests. They've failed because they don't have cases, but they're definitely willing.
