I think that we need anti-fascists more than ever now. |
Those kids won’t do it here because they know they can’t get away with it. Antifa are opportunists and do their performances in cities where the authorities don’t care about their citizens. |
Wait, so what was it when Bowser was pressuring the US Attorneys' Office to prosecute people for rioting even though that office felt like they couldn't actually make cases against them? What was it when the city pursued charges against the inauguration protesters for years despite not having the evidence to secure a single conviction? DC has been desperate to put someone, anyone, in jail for left wing protests. They've failed because they don't have cases, but they're definitely willing. |
+1, being that the actual fascists are back in power. |
Nah. In a case like that, they’ll simple accuse the protesters of being Proud Boys pretending to be ANTIFA |
We had them at one time. They were known as GIs, Tommies, and Ivan. |
| Why do people spell it ANTIFA, all caps? Does that make it look scarier? |
It started out being spelled all caps. Accronyms are like that. It was only through repeated use that lower case became accepted. Similar to LASER. How often do you see that anymore? |
OK, so laser is an acronym that stands for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation - LASER. What is ANTIFA an acronym for? |
I'm getting a little tired of comparing the Capitol insurrection with the BLM movement. Of course destruction of physical property is problematic; no thinking progressive says it isn't. I'm simply trying to point out that whataboutism doesn't work in this case. There's a big difference between (protesting, rioting, speaking out, hurting others) the truth and the lie. |
The one kid in class raising his hand..."but teacher shouldn't it be AntiFa?" |
they didn't do shit. much like the militia types, they just want to playact. fortunately, this may yet save the republic, in that most of the antifa and militia types are just parlour pinkos (or brownos for the militia types?) there's an antifa analogue to tacticool. |
| if they get serious, they might hurt a lot of someones. the (p)ira, (o)ira, udf, rhc, etc., etc., totaled maybe 5-6,000 people at the height of the troubles, out of about 2 million people in northern ireland. |
Pikers, all of them. One former pissed-off cop kept all of southern California law enforcement scared sh!tless and shooting citizens by accident for over two weeks. That was ONE guy. |
or the beltway sniper. |
