This must have been extremely brief. I live in Dupont and went out for my nightly walk at 7:30 and the circle was totally quiet. Not even a ton of police presence. Restaurants outdoors were hopping and there was zero sign of any unrest.

Here they have boiled it down to mostly Abolish ICE protests (which also aligns with All Cops are Bastards, or ACAB) or random vigils that sometimes turn into some late-night vandalism to an antifa soccer league. Same here! We’re in Kensington, and hoping on rising prices over the next few years from people getting out of DC but still wanting to be close. It’d be nice to have another $200k for the house when we move in a few years.
