Jefferson Girls Weekend Flights Released

Can someone tell me what getting accepted to this means? We got an email saying that my DDs team is "accepted" with a lot of exclamation points. We need to say if she is going to play or not according to our team snap. FWIW, I know NOTHING about soccer (she is my youngest kid and only soccer player in the family, she is only 11). Do you travel and stay overnight in a hotel?

Sorry for wanting to see a good youth soccer game involving my DD and her friends play against other girls she has played against and with over the years. Apparently the woke police don’t allow it in their bubble.

It’s just laughable that’s all. You’re not being cancelled you’re being laughed at. They are different things.

Why would you "love" this?

Because it’s not creepy or weird at all to follow girls travel soccer as a sport

Idiot, this is a discussion about a girls tournament and as a parent of a girl who plays for a club that will play in the tournament, I would like to see FCV and McLean play because they are two strong teams and DD has played against both and has friends on both.

Jesus, who cares. The problem with all of this is parents like you who think these games mean anything. Creating these little club rivalries acting like the players are these little celebrities.

And would would the result of such a game even mean? What does it say about those kids or your kid? It is just weird to follow it or care that much about youth club soccer.

Says the person to sought out a soccer message board on internet and felt indignant enough to reply to the post. Yo, kettle.

One can look at a thread about a tournament, especially during Covid, and be interested because brackets are released to know where MY kids team is playing.

It’s another thing entirely to dream up team matches like a fan boy. It’s hysterical, they are kids playing in their 30th tournament after playing literally hundreds of games by now. All most reasonable sane people want to know now is where and when. If your young maybe your kid gets a cheap meddle after it a good weekend of soccer. If your kid is older and showcasing, hopefully the coach of a school she is interested in watches her play and hopefully she has a good game with highlights to send out.

By recruiting age most parents could care less about what other clubs are doing. You’re focused on your own team playing well, win or lose, and how your player plays and their own process.

My guess is, your DD is still playing for cheap trinkets.

DD playing in top bracket, bruh. #deleteyouraccount

I know I will not be the only one watching good soccer at JefCup. Many of us like competition. Given that we are in DC, the home of the risk averse, I am not surprised that some of you don’t like competition.

Ironically FCV 09s are in 6th bracket at 09 and Loudoun is in 1st ROFL

Top flight 09 doesn't mean much when the best 09 teams in the tournament are playing in the U13 Juniors bracket.

Ummm, from what I see, only one top team in Juniors bracket, Match Fit Shore. Other than that, everyone else is in 2009 top group. Pipeline, Loudoun, Richmond, NCFC Pre-ECNL and SJEB. If you think BRYC 09s Southc Caroline Pre-NPL are top notch, you might just be delusional.
