Have you never eaten brussels sprouts? cabbage?
A lot of vegetables give you gas.

NP. Weird - I’ve never experienced this myself or heard of others getting gassy from vegetables.

It's commonly known that cruciferous vegetables give you gas.

Another NP (also OP YOU ARE A BADASS!)

I don't get gassy from eating any vegetables raw or cooked, beans, or legumes. I think if you generally have not eaten a lot of vegetables, you'll suffer gas issues when you increase your consumption. It seems to be very rare for life-long eaters of abundant veggies to have gas issues.

Lifelong veggies eater and mostly vegetarian. Certain vegetables make me gassy. Dates, cherries, cabbage, Brussels sprouts seem to be the worst, but I still
Eat them and my husband still loves me anyway

Did I miss it?? Per the title of your post, what did covid have to do with your weight loss?

The pandemic. “COVID” is a proxy for the time period of the pandemic beginning in March 2020.

The only thing that makes our family gassy is dairy. Don’t really talk about the topic with too many other people.

Maybe it’s a genetic thing. Neanderthal genes make us lactose intolerant but we are good digesting veg?

Someone on this thread said Talk about a Glow Up. That made me smile.

We you able to tone your skin with exercise?

Were you considered overweight before?
Do you say that is one positive thing that came out of the pandemic. Weight loss from an illness. Did the drastic loss in weight mess cause any heart issues? Some people who drastically lose weight in a short period of time encounter problems. Are you going to change the way you eat to keep the weight it is?

Is this what it takes for people to eat healthy?

What illness? I didn't have any illness. When COVID started, I just decided to concentrate more on my health, and I started working out every day and eating less. I had extra time and decided to use it well is all. I definitely will keep up the vegan diet (for life) and definitely WANT to keep a very active lifestyle. Fingers crossed this is my last diet.

Congratulations!!! I bet you look awesome!

That’s not a thing.

Life-long veggie eater here (and now vegetarian) and never got gassy. I just made a big bowl of cabbage soup again; maybe if it is cooked you get less gassy? But I also love cabbage salads and still don't get gassy. Luck of the draw?
