This isn’t car jacking. Car jacking is when someone takes your car with force or threat of violence. I agree. I'm really upset this is being framed as "DC is out of control" instead of "local idiot gets car stolen because she was too lazy to turn off her car and lock it." It's pretty difficult for an average person to get MPD to help them in a timely fashion in the first place, so you know they were falling over themselves to help the Scooter Lady.

Hell, you should be able to go take a piss at a cafe and leave your money, computer, and cell phone on the table and not worry about it being stolen.
