I don't agree that she should have worn a suit. I think it's very appropriate and I don't think there is a need for any woman to wear a suit any more. It's an outdated idea that says suits - i.e. what men wear - are more appropriate for formal events. Women's formal wear can be different, and a formal dress is appropriate.

This. All the people mentioning the Handmaid's Tale are reaching so hard they're going to pull a muscle. Either that, or their monitors are distorting the color.

It's close enough that more than one of us saw it.

You only saw it because you're looking for things to criticize or freak out over. Look, I dislike this rancid harridan as much as the next liberal, but she's not sending us subliminal messages through her clothing colors. Take off the tin foil hat!

I think the dress is lovely. It is a color I love to wear. But I think it is not a politically astute move.

This! Duh... what’s wrong with a nice navy or taupe or charcoal.

I have the same coloring as ACB— pale skin, brown hair, blue eyes— and all of these colors wash me out and make me look like I am at death’s door. People with our complexion need color near our faces to bring it out of our oatmeal-colored skin.

She doesn't have brown hair.

What color would you say her hair is?

She's dirty blonde, not brown. She is definitely, definitely not a brunette!

I can't tell if you're trying to claim her as a fellow blonde, or repudiate her as a fellow brunette. I would say her hair is in-between enough that it could go either way.

I love this dress. The color is fun and it has nice detailing. A very nice change from the black and navy she always wears.

Her hair looks kind of auburn to me. But maybe it’s the lighting.

They can be drab and boring. There’s nothing wrong with color. Her skin looks great with the raspberry or whatever it is.

This is brown/brunette. Dirty blonde is 4 to 5 shades lighter than this. And she looks to have highlights here, so her base is even darker than that.

She has blonde highlights, no way is that brown or brunette lol

A warm dark blonde, yes. But a FAR cry away from being brunette

The lightest hair on her head is dark, dark blonde (through highlights). She has light brown hair.

OK, I thought yesterday's handmaid comments were over the top, but looking at her today, I am starting to think she is trolling us with her choice of outfits. (Yes, I am half kidding, but still).

Yeah she doesn't have brown hair. Maybe it looks darker underneath without lighting, but overall it's a darker reddish blonde. Not very brown, and not remotely a brunette

My hair is the same color as hers and it’s brown. It’s brown, people.

I think you either need a trip to the eye doctor, or to turn the light up on your screen's display. Otherwise, next thing you know, you'll say she's a POC. Because that ain't no brunette.

Her hair is definitely brown with reddish highlights. It looks lighter under the bright lights, but in normal lighting it is obviously brown.

If she's a blonde, a lot more people can call themselves blondes than currently do. Guess they aren't so rare after all.
