Thoughts:
1. I don't want anyone to "condemn racists." They have a right to be here too. I do want broken laws and violence in particular condemned.
2. Trump basically told racists to suit up and be ready for action. This is terrifying.

First, I am not defending the proud boys.
But if you look at what they specifically stand for, it’s not white supremacy. Many of the members are white supremacists. There is a difference.
They are white. They are misogynistic. They are anti-Islam and anti-immigrant.
I am a Democrat, but I do not support antifa. But many (most?) Antifa activists are democrats. That does not mean all Democrats are antifa.

This is 100% not true. Most people who subscribe to the “Antifa” ideology are anarchists and pointedly reject the two party system and American capitalist-driven democracy. The vast majority don’t vote, because it “legitimizes” the current system. They have equal hatred for Democratic and Republicans.

Uh, you're not worried that the President told a paramilitary group to "be ready to defend yourself"? There was also no defense of Antifa. Biden has unequivocally denounced anarchist violence several times.
