For anyone that wants to understand the Republican party I recommend this book. “Democracy in chains” It explains the long game they played really well. This book was written before Trump was elected. Explains how rich white men, like the Koch brothers, have shaped the republican party over the past couple of decades.

I’m jewish and am making sure our passports are all up to date. The only reason my grandparents escaped Nazi Germany in 1938 was because they already had valid passports. Comments like this from trump remind me why I’ve always had a passport, even before I traveled outside the US

The market has been assuming a Biden victory for awhile now. That's not the political risk being priced in. It's pricing in violence and a refusal to transfer power.
