It's pretty apparent that state and local officials wanted the riots, otherwise why the various stand down orders and immediate defunding of the police? I would love to see someone FOIA the emails and text messages of these Democratic officials to see where their marching orders came from. I'm sure Judicial Watch is already on it. Of course, I expect it will take 3-4 years for such records to be produced. Very easy to drag your feet as a public official, even forcing FOIA requestors to take you to court and compel production. Or maybe the e-mails will just magically disappear when the computer server they're stored on crashes, is accidentally overwritten (and Bleach Bitted), or somehow gets lost.
