Tucker Carlson stepped in it against last night. Calls for his firing trending, again.

I don’t think it’s slavery as much as the real racism that exists today - that oppresses and kills black people today.

Maybe if we could fix that first, we could move forward.

Or maybe you want two countries because you don’t want to stop being racist?

It's like a marriage where the husband has cheated and the wife feels so much anger and resentment that the marriage cannot survive and they part ways. Sometimes there is just no way to move forward. It seems like black people would be much happier and less angry if they didn't have to deal with white people anymore or have to worry about being killed by white people.

Do you even hear yourself? Pushing for segregation?

Truth is.... the majority of black people and white people can coexist quite nicely.
What you are seeing is a contrived narrative of "systemic racism" because people think it will help them win an election.
Yep - it rears its ugly head every 4 years.

This is no longer a racist country. Yes, there are instances of racism, but not to the extent being pushed by the media.
Much of what they attribute to racism has nothing to do with race.

Nobody is contriving these police shootings. I doubt the cops are timing them to hurt Trump.

Carlson’s remarks on vigilantism—remarks I condemn—were strikingly similar to AOC’s remarks on riots, which I was told were measured and thoughtful.

Not sure it’s murder. More like protecting private property in a law and order vacuum created by a reduction in policing.
Apparently both sides, right and left, were exchanging gunfire.
Biden’s America isn’t looking so great.

His point.... since so many of you missed it.... is simple.

When local leaders choose not to protect life and property, citizens will step up to fill the void.
He's not saying that is right. It is a reality.

Thanks for this post. Short and elegant, thank you.

It's murder. The murderer set out to kill people who did not threaten his property. There is no law and order vacuum. Gunfire in the US is a normal everyday event. This is not "Biden's America". It is everyone's America.

I understand what murder is. The riots have involved murders too.

In any event, I said I condemned both sets of comments.

This is a part of the riots. This is not a separate issue.

I think the media hyping every little thing Tucker says makes his boring show seem far more controversial than it really is. I think it's called the Barbara Streissand Effect? None of the senile boomers that watch Tucker's show even remembered this line, but then pundits and news outlets makes it go viral x100. Tucker's script has become deeply unimpressive since CNN outed his Ivy League writer 7-8 weeks ago. Just stop paying attention to him and I think he'll fade into obscurity. He's a washed up lazy rich guy just mailing it in at this point.

They don't remember the exact line. They remember the feeling that teenage boys are justified in shooting protestors.
