| The first case, psychotic break seemed more likely than a murder. The autopsy report did not clarify why it was thought the injuries occurred before death as opposed to mangling in the trash truck. |
A few additional details support that theory: https://screenrant.com/unsolved-mysteries-oslo-woman-murder-identity-jennifer-leaves-out/ |
The death row episode was especially bad. When they have so little of substance or intrigue, they should make a "Most Wanted" 5 minute clip inserted between the longer, more complex episodes. |
| Bump. Definitely suicide first episode |
Agree. But NJ Transit really denied them finality by doing such a crappy investigation. I couldn’t believe the uncle found pieces of her skull!!! I thought they typically have professional companies to clean that stuff up. The third episode is so sad. Such a senseless murder. Also I’m black and I think the murder has such a generic fat black lady look that she’s going to be quite hard to find. Hopefully that big tattoo will give her away. Did a little digging and her mother clearly stole money to fund her escape. |
+1 Agree on suicide. It was actually kind of uncomfortable to watch since it just seemed like grasping at straws to make this an "unsolved mystery." Like it's their way of coping with grief instead of accepting the obvious. |
| Where are you all watching this? |
Netflix |
I thought suicide until she wasn’t found with her clothes on. Still never found a shirt or shorts. Her poor parents. |
|
I enjoyed the UFO episode.
Won’t be solved, but gave me chills. I still miss Robert Stack. The show needs a spooky Stack narrator. |
Are you on all board with suicide because of the stolen credit card and it might have been an impulsive act? I thought the show was compelling with something other than suicide with the distance she would have had to cover to jump in front of the train. |
My ex BF stole a friend's credit cards and used them. He didn't need the $$; it was one of the first signs of his mental illness. That's what makes me think suicide. |
I think suicide, in the throes of a psychotic break not unusual to remove clothes. Agree with a PP that the credit card theft suggested mental illness, and her death happened immediately after her parents confronted her about it. She wouldn't be the first "perfect" child who struggled internally then snapped. There was just not enough compelling evidence to suggest anything other than suicide. |
Even though her feet her clean? |

Drug overdose obviously with Buffalo Jim
Wish they would do actual mysteries. There are a ton of unsolved open cases around. |
