+1. Haha. You hit it right on the head there! Yup. This is called a DCUrban forum for a reason. |
so by your logic, Pipeline dad is defending BSC. how does that make any sense |
yet every club in the area is discussed quite thoroughly. |
wow. some arrogant fs on this forum. The person you are calling a Pipeline dad is actually a BSC dad. |
Yes, the response was to explain to BSC dad who Pipeline dad is. |
And now you see why Bethesda continues to decline -- Idiotic parents. I know people that are going to major DI soccer programs next year who literally drive past WJ practice fields as they drive to practices at MUFC, MYS and FCV. I know Bethesda parents who drive from Loudoun, BaCo and HoCo. People drive distances to play travel. The problem for Bethesda is that so many parents are sick of the stupid Bethesda culture that they will drive 40 miles to avoid it. |

Is Pipeline a definite in the ECNL now? |
Has anyone noticed the female coaches leaving BSC? It seems like a trend. |
Anyway, to get back on track, Eric Tin is moving from the men's side to head the women's program.
Never liked him...thinks that joysticking the kids during practices and games is teaching them. One of those "I have an 'A' license, so I'm a god" kinda guys. Really good at making kids feel bad about themselves. And loves getting his ass kissed by parents, and rewards the kids in part. Good luck! |
Not only is Pipeline in the ECNL but it will once again own Bethesda. Sadly, the girls side of Bethesda continues to fall. KL will help but it is not a minor lift. McLean, FCV, and MUFC are all stronger than Bethesda. The best team, the 05s, will do well in ECNL but will not qualify for the Champions league. |
Correction: families that live in Springfield have several mediocre options. (on the boys' side, anyways) If we want quality soccer, we have to drive. |
Excellent, accurate description. +1 |
I agree as well. Pretty accurate description. |
You most be a high school kid who is intimidated by and jealous of Pipeline because you are on an inferior club team. It was a no brainer that Pipeline went ECNL. on the girls side, the club has delivered elite teams across age categories. I hear that one of Pipeline's top players recently signed to play at USC. Outside of McLean and Bethesda, I don't know of too many players signing for a powerhouse like USC. Again, I have zero affiliation with Pipeline but recognize it as an elite club. |
