There isn't any good competition in local ECNL either. Perhaps they can all move to CA.

That can (and does) vary by age group. ECNL battle comes down to something simple, people don't like to give up power. Instead of ceding the elite environment to USSF, our friends in Richmond decided to dig their heels in and get ugly about it. How this helps anyone is beyond most thinking people.

Who cares? How does ceding the fake "elite" environment to ussf help anyone? They are both pay to play deluxe youth sports aimed at the identical demographic

One is run by an organization that is trying to increase the quality of soccer in this nation. The other is a junta of old guys who want to hold onto their power and keep the status quo, which is doing worse and worse with each WC cycle.

See the difference.

At this point it may be safe to say that Loudoun 04 would provide enough competition for FCV 04 (A tier 1 DA playoff bound team). No need to drive up to NJ/NY where ECNL rules anyways. But if travel makes you feel elite, have at it.

Wrong. The clubs run DA with zero USSF oversight other than rules and regulations set forth. They have done nothing to raise the standard for the game in this country. MLS academies are top tier. BDA is 2nd tier.

If USSF fully funded a NWSL academy system like MLS then I will agree. Until then, pay up.

Your argument is getting old.

If only US Soccer motives were as innocent as you think...

lol. You really are a dolt. One area club has a recent national championship to it's credit, and better performance nationally than any local DA club.

If ussf wanted to "better" soccer they would not have simply recreated an uber expensive high travel exclusionary deluxe league just like they one they were criticising. Makes zero sense

Always follow the money. When you do that, it is clear this is all business.

I sincerely hope all of you people are on the ECNL and/or club payrolls.

The solemn allegiance of parents who’s daughters would be cut in a second for the next man up on these boards is hilarious!!

Well that answers it. If there’s no stick up your ass you can’t be a Loudoun parent. Unless you’re misrepresenting that part of you as well.

That's your answer? You produce a flawed assessment of the truth and when called out, you resort to this? Keep going, I can't wait to see what sort of nonsense you come up with next.
