No one cares about this whine.

Like why LAFC slammers left DA and REAL joined them this year. LOL.

You're right no talent comes from the East coast.....Silly fan boy.

There is no one from the EAST (either DA or ECNL) called up to actually play on the National Teams. They select one or two from the east - but they are pool players, don't hit the field and are not selected to rosters. Most EAST players (DA or ECNL) have to go outside of the US to play on National teams (Philippines, Norway, Spain) The National team wan't mid-west or West players. Look at the rosters. https://www.topdrawersoccer.com/club-soccer-articles/topdrawersoccer-girls-ynt-hub_aid47600

No one from the east? Wrong.

Two things:
- actually play on the National Teams - not camp,...on the roster

Clearly a thread started by the same Loudoun ECNL troll that was trumping up similar anti-FCV/pro ECNL threads several weeks back.

Rumors is Girls DA is barely holding on USSF is thinking of dropping it

If DA implodes, clubs like MU and FCV will implode with it.

That’s silly. FCV was in ECNL before DA existed. ECNL would be happy to take FCV back.

You would think so. However, FCV doesn't hold a special geographical area. They are not Tophat, Courage, PDA, Hawks, Stars, (etc) and they will absolutely not be given a two team option. Lavers is smart enough to know that families at FCV will simply migrate to the neighboring ECNL clubs if the DA continues to trend downward. I know people will say, "You're crazy...FCV this and that."

However, FCV is only as good as their player pool. I could totally see FCV moving to St. James and merging with BRYC if they wanted back into ECNL. They already burned the Loudoun bridge and BRYC is in need of assistance.

OR

Nothing happens and FCV remains in DA.

^^ok. ECNL would take FCV back in a hot second. Don’t kid yourself.

Okay.

Loudoun (Loudoun County) , Mclean (Western/ Northern Fairfax) , BRYC (Central /Eastern Fairfax) and VDA (Prince William)

I don't see ECNL adding a Fifth ECNL club in NOVA. If they do, they're better off with Arlington.

FCV would re-enter through a merger. Do you really see a FCV/Loudoun merger? I don't.

My 2 cents. I obviously could be wrong.

The first question, DA or no DA, is does The St James make it out of the other side of this? The non-youth sports side of the St James has a whole set of other employees - no idea if they're furloughed - plus huge capital costs. They've only been in business a year. Hard to imagine they could survive for any extended period of time.

VDA will dissolve or get kicked out of ECNL. They are terrible. FCV already pulls from Maryland, South County, Prince William, Oakton, Reston, Herndon, Vienna, McLean.... they will be just fine on their own.. No merger required.

Huh?

I just don't see another ECNL team in NoVA. If VDA implodes, FCV could take over that area if it moves closer. A FCV/BRYC merger makes some sense. I just don't see FCV sustaining itself as DA implodes. I imagine that DA will struggle to survive the CV. Arlington players are already looking for an exit and MU is basically done. FCV has strong enough teams to remain relevant but that is not sustainable for rising age groups. Why risk you future in the DA when ECNL is a serious option.

FCV could move back to Springfield, where they started.

DA will be fine. This is all one of our favorite troll's dream and nothing more.
