| Kalorama is a transient neighborhood. Too few owners are present. And the Obamas only live there because of the proximity to the Naval Observatory. (Same with Clinton’s.) Normanstone and Wesley Heights/Foxhall are the best DC enclaves for old school and long standing DC families. |
Wrong. Someone bought the house for $3M, then razed it. They plan to build on the empty lot. But let that sink in. Someone paid $3M for a house where 4 people were murdered. That’s the definition of a sought after neighborhood, where even a tragedy of that magnitude doesn’t dissuade buyers. |
