Playing up in the 4th bracket of a tournament that doesn't even include most of the areas top teams anymore.

All of Arlington's A teams are in the tournament.

So their DA team is worse than their "A" team? Arlington 06 Black is their 5th team. DA (1), Red (2), White (3), Blue (4), Black (5).

McLean's third teams (White) participated. Their first and second teams did not.

This is incorrect, at least for some age groups. Boys first teams U10 and U11 participated, and everybody chirping about the benefits and superiority of CCL competition ought to think twice before chest-thumping unless your child is on a top team at Arlington, Loudoun or LMVSC.

Why the hell do you feel the need to bring in CCL into this conversation? There's no mention of CCL.

Mclean is just mad about not being in CCL anymore , they have to deal with NCSL

It's fun to beat up on rich kids. I always found it funny with playing Mclean....only moms show up most of the time, dads are no existent.

I always find it funny when parents write in the 1st person when referring to their kid's sports teams.

It's fun to laugh at losers.

Hey house wife, is it your husband's money or the family's money? You may want to rethink your comment "LOSER".

McLean had 3 07 teams in the tournament. One of them won their division and another was a finalist. So who's the "loser?"

I believe it was actually another McLean parent calling the person who commented “dad’s are no existent” about McLean soccer moms a loser. Don’t think they were suggesting that McLean better than Arlington at soccer. Just that PP is a loser.

Adults don’t play, kids do. I find it odd when parents trash other Clubs and players. They derive their self-worth from 11 and 12-year olds winning soccer matches. That’s what a loser is—no matter which Club your kids play or stupid car sticker you are sporting.

I agree with most of what you said, there is nothing wrong with being an active parent and contribute to the team, but making any negative statement about a youth club/team is uncalled for and most likely inaccurate. Certain clubs do have similar characteristics about them across all teams, but who cares. We are there to make friends with the other parents.

Since you brought it up, let's get rid of the silly magnets on the back of your car. Those people trashing your club, may trash your car in the parking lot! hahah

Should we talk about the fact at least one club (maybe more) teams played older players with a younger age group at ASIST.

Total bummer for the teams who played by the rules.

We had a boy playing 2 years up and 3 kids playing 1 year up on my U11's team.

My U14's team had 4 boys playing up.

Nobody plays down at our Club in a game. That's cheating.

Do you have any specific info to share?

agree - share who you think did this. I am certain the tournament director would like to know if this is true. (and no judging b/c someone is big/tall - at some ages there is a huge range of sizes)

How would you know that? With that age group you would have kids growing at different paces so unless you knew the kid playing down, this is just a sore looser comment.
