I am jealous of women like Meghan Markle

And the best the rest of us can do is marry a doctor?

not fair!

She is not a happy woman. Believe me.

This is a very ugly thread. You all are pretty twisted. Do any of you look in the mirror at your own ugly faces? Let me guess, you're all nice people in real life. To sum up, they're both plain, ugly, unworthy, boring, according to many of you. You are all like the witches or jealous step sisters in fairy tales.

She really suckered that dumb witted prince!

American divorcee. When it’s over, they’ll call her the second coming of Wallis Simpson

What happened to her first marriage?

She used him to get a role on Suits and then dumped him and mailed back the ring. Cheated on live-in boyfriend (super cute up and coming Toronto chef) with Prince Harry.

What, where is the proof? That makes no sense. If first husband was that successful of a producer and you are an opportunist, wouldn’t it make more sense to stay with him until the big payday? From the outside it seemed like she was with him for a long time, 7 or 8 years - hardly a get rich quick. Second, let’s get real, it’s not that easy for a non-White actress to get a key role so I am very doubtful her ex who isn’t exactly a big time producer did that without her working her tail off to impress casting. The breakup with the chef is a bit hazy. But my thought is if they are mid-30’s and had been dating two year, living together and NOT talking marriage already - and here comes a man, let’s not even throw in being a prince, that is on his game and serious about you ....

I’m slightly in awe that Meghan was patient and played the long game. If she had kids with someone that wasn’t right for her or stayed in a marriage that wasn’t working, she wouldn’t be where she is now. Also, props to Harry for knowing what and who he wants and not messing around. These days you have guys that want to text all day and not ask a girl on a date much less commit to a relationship that includes marriage. Love that Harry was decisive.

Most successful men with options ARE decisive when they meet a woman they want to marry. They don’t keep you waiting.

I'm very intrigued by this too. She seems like a very smart woman who doesn't just do things just because. In her late twenties she was in a long term serious relationship with a successful hollywood producer. Most young women at that point would seal the deal and start procreating before their window is out and exit the dating market. By all accounts, she had done well. Landing a successful producer in Hollywood isn't exactly easy either. She could pay heed to her biological clock, make a baby or two and then go back into acting using his connections once she was ready.

Instead she dumped him and found herself single in her early thirties. Very risky proposition...I wonder what her considerations were...

And to be honest most women wouldn't have fared as well as she did marrying such a successful high status man in their mid thirties and being able to quickly start a family.

If you’re not on her level looks wise (and few are), it’s useless to compare yourself to someone like her.

Kate Middleton is married to the future king. She is less pretty compared to Meghan and Will's other exes.

You are kidding, right?

Kate is gorgeous, far more beautiful than Will's exes. She is also darker than the blondes Will dated in the past so Kate (like Meghan) will age better than them.

You're kidding right? She's darker and will age better? WTF...gross generalization.

It is not a generalization.

It is science.

Here is a simple article summing up the role of melanin and collagen in aging. If you want more scientific info there is plenty available:

https://www.aarp.org/disrupt-aging/stories/ideas/info-2017/cliches-that-are-true.html

It's not true though. A lot more goes into aging, esp volume loss, which affects all races equally. I'm an aesthetician and trust me there are plenty of white women who age very well. Black skin gets less wrinkles but black women can certainly look their age or older.

Kate's probably the second fairest shade of foundation available. She does not have her melanin to help with aging. Meghan does. Kate and Pippa were also sun worshippers (esp Pippa) which doesn't do the fair any favors.

Meghan is a divorcee from trailer park family.

British aristocracy is mortified. Harry considered very dim witted which is why Cressida Bonas wouldn’t marry him.

The problem with Rachel is not that she is boring or unworthy as someone implied above. The problem is that she is an opportunistic narcissist who would throw her own grandma under a bus to get more public adoration She offers nothing of value to society or anyone else. She is not a role model or a person to be celebrated.

Contrast her with the queen, for example, who is a true public servant.

And Rachel gets the fawning idiot prince to go along.

Announcing her baby at Eugenia’s wedding. How narcissistic!!!

Disgusting. Old wedding cake.

You all are being so silly.

Her middle name is Meghan.

Plenty of people go by their middle name, especially men.

You don't get your undies in a wad over a guy going by his middle name. Why so worked up about Meghan doing the same?
