Official Brett Kavanaugh Thread, Part 3

This will happen to someone here: a year or three from now you see Kavanaugh in Bethesda or Nats Park or across the kids basketball court. What do you do?

I thought he did pretty well. Most of the commentary admitted that it was a solid job even if they were casting it in the light that Kavanaugh's counter arguments were partisan - a point that I found humorous because it wasn't Kavanaugh's choice that all the Democrats are lined up against him and some called him dangerous and/or evil. A group of people got together to destroy his reputation and life, and the media is disappointed that he is counter-attacking those people as a group.

He destroyed his own reputation. If you believe her and she is extremely credible, he is lying or does not remember.

I believe only Trump.

I'd say "hello Justice Kavanaugh"

I'm only guessing.

But first it would explain some physical things--his puffiness, extremely broken facial capilaries, and brown teeth. For moneyed folk who have the means for elective procedures, brown teeth are usually an indicator of something internal manifesting outward that can't be repaired through cosmetic dentistry, like long-term liver or kidney disease.

Second and most importantly, his behavior. He acts and over-emotes *exactly* the way an addict acts and emotes when they are forced into a situation where they *have* to be sober. Worse, he's forced into that situation because of a questioning of his prior behavior while intoxicated. Shouty, ultra-defensive, deflective, trying to seem "regular" angry except that internal gauge is broken so unable to recognize that he's coming off as rage angry, etc.

He also seems like someone who's yet to admit a problem or, worse, think he has one--so his rage never ends at having to be sober while presenting in a high pressure public forum. I bet he used to down lots of hard liquor, but switched to beer because you "can't be an alcoholic with just beer." Hence all the beer talk.

I'm an dentist, and no, I believe you just made that up. I have never learned that, either in school or in numerous CE classes, nor seen it in any of the dental literature.

How dare you challenge His Truth? The PP was clearly empowered at the moment he wrote that and should not have to defend him/herself to a dentist. You are clearly a sexist, misogynist who supports the raping of women and is complicit in the raping and silencing of Dr. Ford.

I would leave with my children so that I don't subject them to men who sexually assault.

I had to patch it together--the pic was so big:

These are NOT sworn statements. This is what they are using instead of calling M. Judge as a witness.

Walk up and quietly, calmly tell him he is a rapist scumbag who doesn’t deserve to be a judge. The law is my church, and Kavanaugh befouls it.

I'd leave him alone, because I know people like that value any normal moment they can get.

Anonymous wrote:Well, Mike Davis, lead counsel for the SJC is a biased asshat, so the fact he has misrepresented what he has is no surprise.

All three statements are one page letters on firm letterhead. Not one is an actual affidavit or sworn declaration. Call me a liar all you want, these lletters will not magically transform into sworn testimony.

The GOP has a severe allergy to fair investigation. For some reason.

No reason why he shouldn't. He's been harmed by demonstrably false accusations.

Even if a lawsuit isn't successful, it still forces Ford to spend a ton of money defending it, which has a punitive appeal all its own.

Unfortunately, it probably won't happen because Kav is too dignified to fight that way. And that's what I hate about our side. We Fence against people swinging chainsaws, and expect a fair fight. We're idiots that way.

Montgomery county is in the preliminary stages of investigation into alleged sexual assault against kavanaugh ( no statute of limitations in sex crimes in MD)I’m amused dimwits like you think it’s over . He can barely live within his means , who’s going to pay for his lawyers ?? You’re a joke .

Ford would absolutely not cooperate with a criminal investigation. She would not be treated with the kid gloves that she was treated with by the Senate. They would destroy her over her past. She was known to brag about the number of guys she slept with in HS and college. She used to tear up the Dewey Beach scene. A prosecutor would never put her on the stand. She would get absolutely shredded.

This is moronic. It’s completely plausible that random strangers who interact with your children are that or worse and you don’t even know it.

Anonymous wrote:I don't think he assaulted Ford. There a couple of reasons why:

1. The friend that she went to the party with does not support her story. If things happened the way that she said they did, her friend would have remembered that night. She left the party without talking to her friend. That friend would have been angry. Two girls at a house with 4 boys and one of them leaves without telling the other? That friend would have called her the next day asking what the heck happened. Also what kind of friend gets assaulted by two guys and leaves her friend in the house with the same two guys???

2. Her family is not supporting her. That is very telling.

Bingo. Right there.

Between this, and the stuff in HER yearbook (57 sexual partners before graduation?) , it's clear she had some deep seated problems as a teen. She's a victim. But not of Kavenaugh.

Link to her yearbook?

PP is lying. There's nothing like that in CBF's yearbook. Her parents aren't openly supporting her because they still live in the DC older money community.

Dr. Ford’s father, Ralph Blasey IV, a Republican, is on the board of Columbia Country Club in MD. He stated through a family friend he is not publicly backing his daughter’s allegations because he believes he will lose his position with the country club.
The information was passed by a Blasey family friend who has invited both Dr. Ford and the author of the letter supporting Brett Kavanaugh to a wedding in the near future. This should most certainly make for an interesting dynamic if both were to attend.

I'm confused on what happens from here. Can anyone explain the next steps taken? Will there be some sort of vote? Or will there be a continuation of investigation?? I can't seem to find anything that speaks to what next steps in the process are.

Trump's America, this is pathetic and embarrassing. Having a damn rapist sit on the nations highest court, and what's worse is we've lost the courts for at least a generation.
