Or, I am not so insecure about my standards to be bothered by having others be helped near me. Maybe it's my faith? Idk.

I have faith that your low standards will object when one of them takes a dump next to your house

That was the house on Floral that listed at $799K. Word is that it's going to close somewhere around $950K.

This house was pretty clearly underpriced from the moment it listed.

The people on Georgia are fine.

The people in SP are really snotty about them.

Ymmv too.

Are you kidding? It’s a mix on GA Ave. Most are ok. You do have the bar crowd on GA Ave, which can get loud....like any bar crowd. There is occasionally a bad element, like the guy I stumbled upon pooping outside of the 7-11 or the murders at the sleazy hotel in SS. I disagree that people are snobby about them. The most annoying aspect of the neighborhood is the church on 13th! The congregation parks crazy and stand in the middle of the street after services. Totally rude!

Anyone know of any more homes coming to market?

Under $850K? No, unfortunately. But, there is the modern-looking new build coming up at 16th & Roxanna. Also, the huge home at 17th and Juniper that sold for $1.38 last year is being renovated and looks almost ready.

This makes me sad. It was a lovely shaded back yard but the upstairs was wackadoo (odd bedrooms and closets/bathrooms connecting them), the basement small, etc.

If you have the stomach for it, there are two foreclosures on 13th St between Iris and Juniper. One is going for auction next month.

I could be wrong, but I think they overpriced it.

I agree. I thought $825-850K would be about right. Also, last sale price was $700K in 2014, so I can't imagine they'll sell for $200K more just four years later? However, strangely, the Redfin estimate is $941K--I don't think that's accurate for this home.

It's a cute place. Distracted by the framed artwork in photo 5--I wonder who's in the picture. Nicer, bigger backyard than I would've expected. Furniture looks like an older couple, so curious why they'd be moving such a short time later.

No way I'd pay 900K for that.
