LAMB Public Lottery

I believe that’s what we were told during the Open House as well. Looks like those who called yesterday said it would go up today, but refreshing the page for 8 hours again is something I’d like to avoid. It feels like LAMB is being quite inconsiderate here. There are 600+ parents still waiting to hear about a decision that is core to their kids’ lives and they are not being very forthcoming (and in some cases contradictory) about when we should hear.

LAMB is really bad at communication. Epically bad.

They do, but the PP is being ridiculous.

LAMB gives parents plenty of time to decide whether to accept a slot. The common lottery isn't even announcing results for another 2 weeks.

Given that they just hired a new interim executive director last week, and Diane Cottman was gone before the lottery, I am not shocked that things are taking a bit longer than last year.

Seriously. Relax. Your child's fate isn't determined at age 3.

If a 24-wait is already making PP this crazy, LAMB is not the right school for her family. I hope for the sake of her own sanity that her child doesn't get in.

Oh my god. If you get in, please don't come to LAMB. If this bothers you, you're going to spend the entire time with your panties in a bunch about all sorts of things.

Why, what else is the school bad about?

I mean, our kid is in K at LAMB, and I still don't know if his rising PreK-3 sister will be attending in the fall. Communications is...a work in progress, to be sure.

Can I reliably expect a new thread to be posted when the results are up, or do I need to refresh this conversation?

Nope, someone will post a "LAMB RESULTS ARE UP" thread
And then on this thread.
Someone will boost an old Kingsbury thread
And someone will boost up an old sex abuse thread.

LAMB is certainly much much worse at other things. Just do a search on DCUM. hopefully the lawsuits and firings though will right things.

All siblings are in. Don’t expect to see them on the lottery list.
