Arlington neighborhood thoughts?

If by the pool you mean Overlee, OP is SOL. I’ve been on the wait list since 2014 and I’m still in the high 400s in the waitlist. Got on the Dominion Hills list at the same time and got a partial season membership last summer. We expect a full membership this year or next. Good thing we moved to Dominion Hills.

Agree that Overlee pool is a pipe dream, but if you live in this neighborhood Knights of Columbus pool is close by and doesn’t have a waitlist.

No. It is the Donaldson Run Pool that is a status thing because it takes even longer to get into that pool than Overlee. However, the Overlee neighborhoods are more popular than Donaldson Run neighborhoods because those areas are not walkable to anything but the Gulf Branch Nature Center. The Overlee neighborhoods have Lee-Harrison Center, five really good parks, Westover Village, and miscellaneous half decent restaurants along Lee Highway. The Lee Highway commerical corridor will also undergo a massive re-make in the next few years. Also, with Reed becoming a neighborhood school, the area will be more appealing. Try to get into that area, OP, for ensured appreciation.
