There is also apparently the Nickelodeon network producer who has allegedly groomed and abused several of the young girls on Nick shows. It's rampant. |
Hollywood's silence about Weinstein and his abuse of women shows that the Jewish mafia is not a myth. |
Was Roger Ailes Jewish too? How about Bill O'Reilly? |
Men of all backgrounds abuse women. We are shining the spotlight on Hollywood today and the people that control it and don't speak up. The same way the Catholic Church covered up years of abuse. Anytime there is a monopoly there is an abuse of power. Weinstein stated himself he operated his company like the mafia and that is what he felt Jews needed to do to fight anti-Semitisim. He does not seem to be a victim in anyway but actually used this power he bragged of to abuse women. |
He's fired and many more women coming forward. The men that have stood by and let this greedy, sex abuser thrive all these years should feel shame. |
Hollywood is disgusting. Disgusting, greedy, hypocrites. |
There were plenty of women too. They should be doubly ashamed. |
If you are a woman, shame on you. |
No it’s only men. |
He's so gross. He looks a lot like Eliot Spitzer, another sleazeball. |
I feel like many men approach every woman with the thought, "can I (would I want to) have sex with her?" Many powerful men act on it. The honor code that once kept powerful men in check is gone, as is any respect for women who are not sexually attractive. |
One woman, quoted today in the NYTimes, said she wanted to report him but knew that word would get out if she did and other men would see to it that she was blacklisted. This is precisely what keeps women silent. |
But there are plenty of women over the years that have fawned over him and praised him. Many times on shows where they are promoting movies, actresses would gush over "The Weinstein Brothers" And there are many actresses who gush over and praised people like Woody allen and Roman Polanski, knowing that they were full on predators. That bothers me just as much if not more than a bunch of sleazy guys protecting their own. I do not fault any of the women who were victims but I sure do fault any of the women, particulary powerful actresses, who looked the other way while heaping praise and accolades on men they know to be predators. If we women do not use our voices to speak up, then who will? |
FYI, it's roles. |
Penn State was far, far worse. A grown man preying on poor little boys from single parent households with the open knowledge of almost everyone who counted (his neighbors admitted they warned each other not to let their sons play in his house, the local ice cream shop had a highly suggestive sundae named for Sandusky). However, it does affirm just how strong the bond of silence is among good ol boys. |
