One woman, quoted today in the NYTimes, said she wanted to report him but knew that word would get out if she did and other men would see to it that she was blacklisted.This is precisely what keeps women silent.
But there are plenty of women over the years that have fawned over him and praised him. Many times on shows where they are promoting movies, actresses would gush over "The Weinstein Brothers"
And there are many actresses who gush over and praised people like Woody allen and Roman Polanski, knowing that they were full on predators.
That bothers me just as much if not more than a bunch of sleazy guys protecting their own.
I do not fault any of the women who were victims but I sure do fault any of the women, particulary powerful actresses, who looked the other way while heaping praise and accolades on men they know to be predators.
If we women do not use our voices to speak up, then who will?
