OP here and never said that the SPLC was trying to avoid taxes. What I did say was why does a non-profit need offshore accounts? Possibly to skirt Federal Law and hide it's sponsors?

Um, the federal law that you skirt with offshore accounts is taxes.

And as has been stated many times before, they have an investment portfolio that includes alternative investments like hedge funds. Many of them run their operations out of other countries, and owning shares in them is not a problem at all.

So again. What taxes? They are a nonprofit.

No need to concede any facts here; even if they are in fact true. La la la la la la . . .

Exactly. Don't refute the accusations (they can't) but attack the source, and call those who expose such things.... racists. Shocker, right?

Typical, tired, liberal tactics.

Once upon a time, they went after group that espoused violence. Now, they go after any group that disagrees with them.

THIS x100.

So true.

SPLC has jumped the shark. Once upon a time, it did good work.

Exactly.

Sure, that's why people still give to them, including me.

People also donate money to the KKK.

Already refuted the accusations several times. Typical conservative tactic to ignore information that disproves you.

20% of off shore accounts didn't let people off the the hook in the Panama Papers.

Why the f*ck should non-profits get off the hook?

because moron, the issue with offshore banks is tax evasion. But nonprofits pay no taxes.

Also, they are invested in funds that are based offshore, which is not the same as having money in a bank somewhere. You might too and not even know it.
