They do not have millions in offshore banks. They have an investment portfolio that includes some hedge funds that are not based in the US. The two are in no way the same thing.

Um, the federal law that you skirt with offshore accounts is taxes.

And as has been stated many times before, they have an investment portfolio that includes alternative investments like hedge funds. Many of them run their operations out of other countries, and owning shares in them is not a problem at all.
