So true.

SPLC has jumped the shark. Once upon a time, it did good work.

Exactly.

It still does good work.

If you are a lefty and looking to blame your own ineptness its good.

Curious. SPLC is headquartered in Montgomery Al Do Dees and Cohen live there. $400k in Montgomery would certainly go a lot further than in DC.

No one fooled me. Morris Dees is a hero. The American Bar Association awarded him the ABA Medal. Skadden Arps established an award in his name. On top of that he sold a successful publishing business in order to create SPLC.

You have been fooled by the people who fear the SPLC and want to tear it down. They spread any number of lies about SPLC, but those lies don't pan out. For example, this thread is completely untrue. They do not have millions in offshore banks. They have an investment portfolio that includes some hedge funds that are not based in the US. The two are in no way the same thing.

Why don't you clarify exactly what their total assets are?

If you want to read the names of the specific ones in question, you can see them on tbe 990 that was referenced in the OP's original article.

Has it ever occurred to your right wing knuckleheads that a tax exempt organization has no need to evade taxes?

OP here and never said that the SPLC was trying to avoid taxes. What I did say was why does a non-profit need offshore accounts? Possibly to skirt Federal Law and hide it's sponsors?

Um, the federal law that you skirt with offshore accounts is taxes.

And as has been stated many times before, they have an investment portfolio that includes alternative investments like hedge funds. Many of them run their operations out of other countries, and owning shares in them is not a problem at all.

Unlike the ACLU which does defend the civil rights of all--whether you like them or not.

You are a total tin foil hat squad member. You are blinded by rage. You're the danger.
