Swami, you must be slipping. They are IB for Powell in non-lottery grades. Clearly that's the safety. |
Not necessarily. If they are hell-bent on leaving their IB for whatever reason, then they'd need a safety on this list. |
OP here, we are looking to get out of the dual language program at Powell and into a traditional elementary school program (and with proximity in mind came up with this lottery list) |
Swami knows, but also knows that list looks like a want for a 50k+ PTO budget. |
Swami just has swamification. |
Swami says you will get an offer... Swami is unclear Shepherd or Murch. Swami thinks you will ultimately not take the Deal option... this time. |
NP here. Last year, Janney, Stoddert, and Hearst did not take any OOB students for K-5. Mann, Eaton, and Murch only took OOB kids for K. |

Lottery swami hopes you really wanted Bancroft as your true first choice because you will get a great pull and be one of the first admitted. You will wonder if you should have put Mundo Verde first, but quickly dismiss the commute. Swami also thinks you might not really understand the lottery with how you arranged the remainder of your list. |
Swami, it's me again, wasn't sure if you saw my additional post which said we are IB for Powell. Does the powers that be still stand as having no luck? Thanks! |
Correction, OOB for Powell. |
Swami stands. |
I really want Bancroft. Two block from our home, dual language and diversity. I hope you are right! |

Swami says this isn't your year for HRCS. You will have a top 5 number for Bancroft and get in fairly quickly. You other numbers will range from the 40s to the 170s. |
