You will get into Breakthrough on lottery day and waffle about enrolling because you aren't sure of the commute. Your CMI and YY numbers will be untenable. You will get off of the WL at SSMA with a number in the 30s by mid-summer, but will be watching your ITS number and DCB numbers creep down. You will call DCB and ITS through count day and will eventually get in ITS in late September. Your kid will be resilient, and you will be happy. You'll sign up immediately for kiss and go duty.

You will get a great initial number, and end up at TRY with other list numbers below 10 . Nothing will budge, but you will get off the LAMB list with a low 40s number in August. You will be grateful it is the South Dakota and not Missouri campus they are offering and take the spot. You will begin to house hunt in Brookland and Woodridge.

I would love to get in lamb, but I don't see it happening. People here keep saying you can get in with a number in the 40s, but that hasn't happened in years and years. I'm hoping the new expansion will allow for extra PK3 seats!

Hope we don't end up at TR- great school but I don't think it will be a good fit.

Let's see how you do!!

Not the swami, but this year will be best shot in a while to get into LAMB. The sexual abuse allegations will scare some people off, both applicants and a few current families.

That's ridiculous. If anything it's the safest time to be at lamb since people are on such a high alert.

Plus it's still difficult to get into Beauvoir and Oyster.

Give me a break.

You will get a great lottery master number, perhaps the universe congratulating you for putting together a good master list. It'll put you at Powell, because that's your 4th choice, which now you are reevaulating if that's your true preference against the rest of your list. You will have <10 numbers at your top 3, and end up at CMI, pulling your two seater red wagon up the hill with your 15 month in tow. Your fellow Petworth parents will be a little grumpy you got so lucky.

You're my favorite person on DCUM right now.

I believe for K my CMI # moved faster than ITS but I guess it's year to year.
