I am a nothing burger compared to Trump but I used to travel quite a bit and I was always wary when I was in certain countries as to whether my phone was bugged, my laptop was likely to be hacked and whether there were cameras and bugs in the hotel room where I was staying. I conducted myself accordingly.

Trump had to have known that he was vulnerable to the same dangers of being under surveillance so stuff like the "golden showers" just seems really unlikely.

I venture to say that you are not as arrogant as Trump nor do you have his hubris. He believes his wealth lets him get away with anything.

I hope it all comes out and that the humiliation gives him a good heart attack.

I knew this would happen...I give this 10 days max until all shit hits the fan and it all comes tumbling down like Niagara Falls in a storm....he WILL be impeached. I have no doubt...it all makes so much sense, his complete defiance of admitting Russia is doing anything wrong and of course his unwillingness to release his tax return. Before the report had no real credibility. Now it has the stamp of approval of the US Intelligence services. That is the only change, the importance of which is debatable.

Plus, there was certainty Clinton would win. Tainting her credibility with an unverified report wasn't a risk worth taking.

But that's gotta be the reason Comey issued that letter. And Trump ramped up the claims that the election was rigged. If they couldn't manage to pull it off and Hillary had won, they would have released information that her campaign (and the DNC, and the president) knew about the Russian interference and said nothing. (I wish I could find the post where I posited this back in November... I thought Manafort was the weirdest thing.)

Still, Trump is a greater scumbag than I could have ever imagined.
