+1.

Most of the appointments have been surprisingly good

In what way? Please be specific about each person as to why they were excellent choices for the cabinet or administration position. Experience, temperament, etc.

For example, the new Ambassador to China.

Had never even heard of him,
and somehow the Trump team found this guy who has a decades-long trust relationship with the top leader of a country where trust is paramount.

Are you serious? Terry Branstad former governor of Iowa, and you never heard of him?

It's kind of hilarious that PP seemingly isn't aware that Branstad is the nation's longest serving governor and isn't conservative enough for the lunatic fringe of the GOP. The nomination of this Trump apologist opens the door to a new era of batshit crazy. The fact he has good relations with th Chinese is gravy.

They are seriously considering bringing back appointees from th Nixon administration to fill slots. Filling the top job with an unimpressive candidate has downstream effects for the rest of the agency.

I have heard this too. Pretty scary shit.

Never.

I have more interesting things going on in my life than knowing who's a former governor of Iowa.

And that's just one example, there are more.

He's the sitting Governor. And yet you have enough time to comment on something about which you know nothing? Very Trumpesque in our post-truth era.

I can understand being proudly ignorant of celebrities and celebrity culture, but being proud to be ignorant of who is running this country?? Just wow.

Really? If you don't think peddling conspiracy theories is problematic then you might want some professional help yourself.

PP is talking about Michael Flynn, who has tweeted out links to false and malicious rumors about child sex rings at Comet Ping Pong and has promoted other conspiracy theories involving Obama and ISIS.

o.k., thank-you.

wasn't it Gen. Flynn's son who tweeted out those rumors? Haven't been following this that closely.

They've both tweeted to unfounded rumors.

Flynn didn't tweet specifically about Comet PingPong (because it was before the connection got made) but about Clinton's emails and child sex crimes. Here's a good clarification:
