Carson isn't intelligent. He is suffering from early dementia. He was smart. He isn't any more. It's common knowledge at Hopkins. |
Amazing how some liberals choose to disparage Ben Carson and his mental faculties.
FWIW, just today, I was chatting with a physician who works at JH who knew Carson well and he said that there is nothing wrong with this brilliant man other than the fact that he is a Republican and being black and a Republican is like the ultimate taboo. This physician is not a Republican but he has a basic sense of decency and realizes that you don't disparage someone just because he/she espouses a different party. Is he equipped to handle HUD - probably not and he will need a strong deputy who has executive experience. Carson was appointed to the position to reward him for his loyalty but that happens in both parties. It just goes on to show how our level of discourse has deteriorated to a point where there cannot be any level of honest disagreement but instead we have to tear down the other side. I have no doubt if Carson had been a Democrat, there would have been praise for him from the liberals and the Republicans would have been tearing him down. |
Ben Carson believes Joseph built the pyramids to store grain. I think that says everything about his mental faculties. |
This is what is wrong with the left ...... basically they cannot accept they lost. To make matters worse they can't believe they lost to Trump!

Cool story. They need to check the water at Hopkins (nobody refers to it as JH) if this person thinks nothing is wrong with Carson. And you might to check if you were talking to an imaginary physician. |
The only people who are likely to develop any sort of derangement are those who cannot come to terms with Trump being the president for the next four years. |
Obama kept the Secretary of Defense and even picked a Republican, Ray LaHood. That kind of bipartisanship has not shown its face in the Trump administration. |
me too. |
Were you also almost killed when you were 37 weeks pregnant? Your peculiar spacing would suggest so. |
Best comment on Carson leading HUD:
"I suppose if I have to chose ignorance or ideology, I would go with ignorance." From a NY city council member with housing background commenting on NPR tonight about how perhaps there is a sliver of hope that Carson won't destroy public housing since he doesn't have a concrete political ideology related to HUD since he's completely ignorant of HUD and it's programs. Fingers crossed. |
Liberals seem to be in a real tizzy over a president deciding to choose a cabinet that is not to their liking!
I am sure the Ellison/Pelosi/Schumer combination will be the panacea to the wholesale rejection they have been facing at federal and state level. |
They are the same sock puppet. |
LMAO! What a card you are! |
NP. Regarding Carson, I'll just say this: it is incredibly unusual for a world-renowned surgeon to walk away from medicine at the young age of 62. Someone with his expertise, to not, at the very least, consult on difficult cases? Absolutely unheard of. Something happened at Hopkins. Something bad enough that they forced him out and got him to agree not to practice anymore, in exchange for keeping the whole thing quiet. |
If there was something "bad enough" for Hopkins to force Carson out, it would have come out by now with the scrutiny he received during the primaries and now having been nominated for HUD. Here are a couple of announcements that did appear when he retired: http://hub.jhu.edu/2013/03/19/ben-carson-retirement/ http://www.wbaltv.com/article/famed-hopkins-neurosurgeon-ben-carson-to-retire/7079556 |
