In a sense, Christianity is exclusive. It's not some sort of catch-all philosophy for people who want to be really good people and like the things Jesus has said.

Some people see it that way and live their lives accordingly. Are you suggesting that, while they may be really good people, they are not very good Christians?

That's exactly what I am saying. There are wonderful people of all faiths living very good lives.

There are wonderful people who are inspired by Jesus to live a good life.

But if you do not believe that he died and was resurrected for your sins, then you are not a Christian.
