There is one element that distinguishes the two. Clinton is a part of the establishment and has shown through her lack of integrity a willingness to exploit the system to her advantage and an intricate knowledge of the system and how to beat it. Conversely, one of the reasons that many Trump supporters are voting for him is that he is an outsider and many people want to see change. They want to get away from insider politics of the people who know and abuse the system. One of the ideas is that while Trump may also have a lack of integrity, he does not know a knowledge of the system and will have to follow more of the rules and infrastructure due to a lack of knowledge of how to beat the system. I have seen a lot of polls that cite that many people want "change". Clinton looks to most like more of the Obama policies and practices, or more insider politics. Trump looks like a Washington outsider who will have to find or make a new way to do business. |
