I met with an older couple I had worked for before at their home, they wanted to discuss a new project. While we were talking it came out that the husband was heading in for a knee replacement, The moment he said it I heard a voice in my head that said "DON'T"; I ignored it continued with my conversation and drove away thinking about that. I called a few weeks later to ask if they had any more questions about the project, his wife told me he had died on the operating table. I have always felt sort of guilty about not saying something; I didn't know them well and having their contractor say that he had some sort of premonition would seem ridiculous.
I told my wife about it and she said there was nothing I could've done, I don't exactly believe in God, ghosts or psychics but I do feel bad that I ignored someone or thing telling me something. |

| I met a guy online and went on a date with him. He told me about how he liked to take frequent vacations to a third world country. As if someone put their mouth to my ear, I heard a voice say, "prostitution!" . And in my gut I knew that's why he went there all the time. Did not see him again for this reason. |

| Many years ago I worked in a restaurant. This guy came in with a kid who looked about 10 years old, and they ordered a sticky dessert. The kid must have liked it, because he licked his fingers. He then proceeded to try to lick the guy's fingers too. To be fair, the man was pretty clearly creeped out as well and immediately jerked his hand back and rebuked the kid, but it still left me cold. |

I love this thread! I even like the "I know what you did last summer" poster. Nice reference, but I'm glad the thread got back on track.
I'm really intrigued by all of the posts where people had premonitions in the form of voices. |

Six years ago, I was at a company happy hour. I vividly remembered opening the fridge, grabbing a Heineken, and almost dropping it because a voice in my mind told me I was pregnant and shouldn't be drinking that. It was so bizarre... I was 24; we were newlyweds and weren't even close to TTC; I was judicious about taking the pill; and I had zero symptoms. Pregnancy and babies weren't on my mind... it was something we wanted to do "someday." Sure enough, I missed my period 8 days later and now have an amazing five year old.
Oh, and the voice freaked me out so much that I didn't drink the beer after all. |

| In college I worked at a bar/restaurant and there was this one summer that we had an odd couple that frequented the bar. The guy was probably in his 40's and very odd and his clothes looked very outdated. Not the typical customer for this particular scene. The girl with him looked like an older teenager with mental disabilities. Not severe disabilities, but noticeable that something was off. The creepy part was that she was very visibly pregnant. Like 7-9 months along. This guy would bring her in, they would sit at the bar and he would order her a lot of food and she would eat veraciously. He wouldn't eat. He would just have a coke or something. They wouldn't really talk to each other, and he did all the talking for her. Then they would leave. It always creeped me out because in my mind (and perhaps I'm wrong), I thought he was kind of taking advantage of this young woman with disabilities and got her pregnant. Then the next summer when I was working there again, I saw them again. She was pregnant again. Really bothered me. |

The 10 year old boy licked the sticky off of his fingers, then he proceeded to lick the fingers of a grown man. I suspect abuse or some sort of mental issue. That is creepy. Would definitely make me uneasy. |

| I was playing tennis with my cousin when we were teens, but not really on the court, just in front of houses on the concrete. This was in Europe, and behind us was my cousin's back yard which was mostly a junk yard for car tires for his tire shop. I went to get the ball that fell into 3,4 tires stacked on top of each other and as I reached there were rats there. Even before that I had rat and mouse phobia, now I can't even see them on tv. I switch right away and gag. |

This reminds me of an experience on a Metro platform. There was a man with a teenage boy (young, like 13). The boy was hanging all over the man. Creepily. The man seemed ok w it, then he noticed ppl noticed and tried to get him to stop (like a "not now"). Looking back maybe it was nothing, or the kid had special needs/boundary issues. But at the time I got a super creepy vibe. |

Or just a perv with a thing for women's hair. There was a professor at my school who was creeping around in the library, so that he could look at women's feet when they kicked off their shoes while they were studying. After doing that for years, he started touching and licking them. That only lasted a month or so before campus police arrested him. |
