Be honest. Do you care for your dog or cat more than your spouse or partner?

My dogs don't yell at me, they are always happy to see me, and they ask for nothing. If I was single and dating no way would I give my dog up for a guy.

I don't blame him for being angry with you since you only grudingly rank your husband slightly above dogs and it sounds like you're not really sure about that.

My dog has his faults, but he is honestly loving. My spouse, on the other hand, has lied and cheated on me for over two decades. He pays the bills but the dog gets the cuddles in the bed.

Dogs.

Dogs are loyal. Men stray.

Dogs are easy to take care of. Men are never satisfied.

Dogs don't care if you get fat. They just want you to share the ice cream.

Dogs don't complain if you are too tired to go out. They are happy to sit on the couch and watch TV.

Dogs don't go out with their friends and come drunk at 3:30 am.

Dogs don't spend the savings on a golf trip with their buddies.

Dogs don't have mothers who try to tell you what to do.

Yikes hopefully after the child is born you'll feel differently.

I have kids who I love deeply. I still love my husband more. Would I chose DH if I had to chose between saving one of my kids' lives or saving DH's life? Abslutely not. But my reasons for chosing to save my child instead of DH would have nothing to do with which one of them I love more..

These women are very uncomfortable with a differing viewpoint.

You know this isn't 4chan, right?

Crawl back into the basement and drool over the women in your video games.

Hopefully. Currently we could always have another pregnancy. Baby isn't even a real baby yet.

LOL you're crazy aren't you. I feel sorry for your fetus, why not just abort it right now rather than bring it into the hellish world it will face with you as its "mother."

Her DH probably wants a kid, and to keep him she must produce an heir.

If that happens maybe PP will get lucky and her dog will devour the little brat. That would be O.K. since dogs are more important than people.

PP never said she thinks dogs are more important than people or that she loves her dog more than she loves (or will love) her child . In fact, .she said she loves her DH (who is, prresumably human) more than she loves her dog or her unborn child. So, human husband trumps dog.The fact that human husband also trumps human child doesn't mean she values dogs over humans, it means that she loves one human more than another human; dogs don't even factor into that equation.

Yes. My dog jumps for joy and wags his tail whenever I come home. My wife hasn't waved her ass at me in years.

No, but I DO enjoy my cat's company more than that of many other people.

How on earth did you go from reading the first PP's statement that she loves her DH more than her unborn child OR HER DOG to assuming that PP thinks dogs are more important than people? That's quite the logic fail.

Why are dogs treated more humanely now and dogs are becoming more popular? just 10 years ago i was the only one in my street who owned a dog (a gorgeous intellignet 90 pound dog) fast forward 10 years every house in my block has a dog!

In the past it seems like couples would try having a puppy first then give up the adult dog when they had a baby!

Only with white people. Whites have reduced reproduction and are committing suicide . I think they sense the end of the world and want to exit the stage having done all they can for humanity .

I loved my husband and I loved my dog and my husband loved my dog. He was a rescue and when he got sick on a Saturday and died on a Sunday my then ex-husband was right there crying with me holding my hand over that dog.
