How to make an ugly company polo shirt look good?

OP. Company polos are hideous. They cannot be made to look good. Period. It's fine. You will get through this. We are paid to sometimes do things that suck.

I was given a men’s cut polo that I had to wear for a conference. I got it altered to fit me and wore it with black ankle pants, cute flats and some jewelry. It made it slightly better but everyone knows those shirts are hideous

When you are at a conference, often several days, you are on your feet and meeting with lots of people. If you feel like you look awful, that can be pretty miserable. As a female conference veteran, not to mention a management team member, I also feel strongly that women are as deserving of something that looks half way decent as men. And let’s face it, polos tend to look best on people with flat chests.

Exactly this.

Pull the collar up, drop a sweater (there are plenty of lighter weight sweaters) over your shoulders. Tuck into a cute skirt. Alter if you need to.

You can't.

Loose weight and tone up. Ugly clothes look ok on fit people. If you have nice arms with some musles. roll up the sleeves?

Can you imagine if the order the company shirt in a woman's fit style and asked the men to wear it?

+1. Are other women colleagues in this position? We’ve banded together to do this.

At my office the two women just buy the shirts we want and get them embroidered. Is that an option?

Oh that's hideous, all the way down to the Lacoste flats.

It’s supposed to be a faux pas. Can’t you read?
