Her "after" is not even a polo (it's not the same shirt as the first picture). |
How is this helpful, she's wearing a very fitted (probably custom fitted) woman's polo. |
+2 So the men will look sporty/business casual slovenly, but you’ll look shrunken and slovenly. |
I always tuck this type of stuff into a pencil skirt with heels. |
as a rule, i never get the company polos in womens' cuts. Theyre always short and boxy and awkward. I get mens' small or medium, and then they are longer and leaner and I can tuck them in / style them ![]() |
Thanks for the laugh! ![]() |
(You're an idiot) https://www.merricksart.com/polo-refashion/ |
Might as well be a different shirt. You really think OP is going to be able to turn her shirt backwards (hiding the company logo) and "refashion" it remove the collar? |
Tell the powers that be you need a woman't shirt. Not a woman's man-shirt, like a woman's golf shirt, but an actual, business casual woman's shirt that a normal woman would wear to work, not golfing. Unless you are actually going golfing. Heck, even i fyou are going golfing, fancy country clubs don't require women to wear collared shirts anymore. They allow women to wear women's fashion.
Suggest a maroon sweater set with the company logo on the outer sweater. Or a blouse with the logo. Lands End Business will embroider a logo on anything they sell. https://business.landsend.com/Women/Tops/Shirts-%26-Blouses/Women%27s-Short-Sleeve-Pocket-Tee-Crepe-Blouse/p/5282975 |
Does it matter? Women don't wear polo shirts. |
I have a company logo cardigan (kind of a long cardigan) from Land's End Business in black and it looks surprisingly decent. |
Yesss! Wear men's cut pants too. And a fedora and a fake mustache. |
Hey hey now! I sported a few polo shirts in my camp counselor days! OP - maybe you just go with that look. Perky ponytail, white visor, khaki shorts, white sneakers and white ankle socks. Make a statement |
Also she weighs 12 pounds - and still looks cute in the before pic. The second pic shows how much a good pair of shows can make up for the shirt, though, I think. |
That's a great look! I think the "hideous" poster saw that blog's title and misunderstood. It wasn't meant to imply that the look was a faux pas. Read the "about" and you'll get it. |
