Coldplay killed it

Lol at the lady who suggested Adele. The Super Bowl is a party, not a post breakup, eat ice cream out of the carton, pity party.

Coldplay was great. But what was with Beyonce's homage to the Black Panthers?! She's like the national hoodrat -- totally cringeworthy.

I agree. Adele would be great at the National Anthem though!

NP here: white & I thought Coldplay was upstaged by Mars, Ronson (turntables) and Beyonce.

Not all Xs are Y, no matter what demographic you use.

I believe it was also NYTimes that famously referred to Coldplay as the most insufferable band of the decade. I can't think of a more apt description.

+1000.

Bruno Mars and Beyonce saved it.

+10000

Why was Coldplay even there?

Thank you.

What's wrong with an homage to the Black Panthers?

Because everyone has different musical taste. I loved Coldplay. Music with substance. Beyonce just looked like a stripper.

A stripper who almost fell on her bum.

Yes, but damn look how she saved it! I doubt any of us have the muscles to pull off that kind of bounce back!

Probably good to stick with Americans for the anthem.

Adele is overrated, IMO. After a while, her voice gets irritating as hell. Can't sit through a whole CD of her singing.

Loved Coldplay and Dudamel! They were terrific.
I don't understand what is the noice with Beyonce. Where does it come from? Whose agenda is it?

She, but she's British. Isn't the national anthem singer typically an American artist.

We really enjoyed Coldplay about the sanded great I thought they brought a nice energy to the show as did Bruno Mars .

Beyoncé on the other hand has become ridiculously predictable her outfits are absolutely atrocious she really does out of the body talk to pull them off and frankly her songs all sound the same she really needs to hire a new stylist

I liked it all, though Chris Martin stumbled a few time on vocals. But, generally, I like them and they appeal to the non-R&B crowd.

As for Bruno Mars, I thought he was amazing as usual. He killed it two years ago and that's why they brought him back. Which I loved.

As for Beyonce, look, she's beautiful and talented. But, by now, her routine is predictable. Choreographed dance, wind blowing in her face, back up of dancers, all barely clothed. I was not impressed. And, I agree with the poster who said that she's got about 10 years before I start to think she's a little sad.

OMG, thank you for saying this. I thought I was the only one.
