Coldplay killed it

Who picks the singers for a show? They should be fired. I heard they brought in Mars at the last moment.

What's wrong with an homage to the Black Panthers?

Beyoncé on the other hand has become ridiculously predictable her outfits are absolutely atrocious she really does out of the body talk to pull them off and frankly her songs all sound the same she really needs to hire a new stylist

Really?

Watch the video, listen to the lyrics. It's a very pro-black, political song. Love it.

The best thing about Coldplay were the colors and flowers. I kept think how awesome it would be with a better band.

Know your audience.

I agree. Adele would be great at the National Anthem though!

Probably good to stick with Americans for the anthem.

Adele is overrated, IMO. After a while, her voice gets irritating as hell. Can't sit through a whole CD of her singing.

OMG, thank you for saying this. I thought I was the only one.

I still haven't made through all of "Hello."

I believe it was also NYTimes that famously referred to Coldplay as the most insufferable band of the decade. I can't think of a more apt description.

ColdPlay is the new Morrisssey

Both Beyonce and David Bowie declined to collaborate with Coldplay because the songs were so bad.

The video is horrible, I will listen to the lyrics again, thanks

Yeah, it is. And I'm white and I think its great. people who say shit like "all lives matter" when confronted with "black lives mattter" or the most cringeworthy "i don't see color" in an effort to show they value all people are so damn clueless. Being pro-black doesn't mean anti-white, get a clue, its not about white people AT ALL.

I might be alone in this but I only really started to like Coldplay with some of their newer stuff that people on this thread are calling "crap" compared to all of their good songs of the past. Sure I appreciated some of them, but they were a bit too melancholy for me on the whole, I kind of liked the turn they took- but I like U2 and its a very similar style IMO.

Agree about Goop, but I just watched the Carpool Karaoke with Chris Martin and he seemed very sweet and charming.

He has always struck me as a humble low key guy..how he ended up with the queen of narcissism is beyond me! As an aside was in NYC over Christmas and saw her at Barneys, she is H O M I L Y! Except for the height she is one unattractive babe.
