Maybe they thought you were transgendered? |
No there are parts of the city WHERE WHITES THEMSELVES feel un welcomed. Big difference. So black should apologize because we were barred from attending any white house events even at Easter and created our own event, that is now a tradition in the city? Talk about white entitlement. Its beyond annoying. |
Then what are you doing here then? Attitude and personal responsibility don't matter? Is it possible to support more accountability in our criminal justice system AND be critical of the lack of leadership and accountability in the black community? Or, does one have to side with guilty white liberals living in denial and/or parrot Black Lives Matter talking points without any regard for objectivity or first hand observation? |
I challenge PP to list the specific "parts" of DC where whites are supposedly unwelcome. |
Oh really? Well you're starting to come across as a sexually repressed sociopath your damn self seeing how you seem to get off blaming liberals and refuse to recognize that its not one race or one class out here committing crime in this country. Do yourself a favor - put the vaseline down and get off the web for a while. |

I'm not here to debate root causes with people who don't know the first thing about DC, urban poverty or crime. No one, with the exception of Fox viewers, gives a rat's ass about BLM or their supposed talking points. I'm a progressive and have no guilt because I worked hard and earn a wealthy paycheck, so stop projecting your bizarre preconceptions and assumptions. |
Oh my! A solitary, elderly AA man with a few crazy ass signs on his properunweaned you feel unwelcome? Talk about pearl clutching. Do you feel the need to roll up yourcwindows, lock your doors and not make eye contact as you drive by? Any other "parts" of DC aside from his front lawn? |
properunweaned = property makes |
I know a lot about DC. I just haven't heard a cogent explanation from our Mayor about how to curb atrocities like the 23 year-old man who was gunned down in Shaw in the middle of the day by a 19 year-old thug who then threatened an Uber driver at gunpoint when he tried to flee the scene. "Safety walks" and "police your neighborhood"= pathetic empty rhetoric. I have friends who were close to Matt Shlonsky and I can't tell you how devastating his loss has been. The guy was minding his own business on a busy street near a Metro stop and he had his life cut down by losers who had beef over a damn dice game. And what's the excuse for all the "kids" on ATVs and dirtbikes who are bound to kill a pedestrian or cause a crash? I didn't grow up with a lot of money and knew better than to act like that. And who says I'm white? |
At last, a coherent and intelligent post that raises valid concerns about real issues in DC -- even though I would rank the risk to pedestrians from Maryland commuters much higher than minibikes and ATVs. Either way, you shouldn't expect to find useful answers here, but what do you want the Mayor to say? There are no quick and simple solutions.
BTW, others seem unaware that meaningful discourse isn't initiated by prattling on about leadership, accountability, liberal guilt and denial. |
This guy is going to protest all the way to the bank when he sells his house. |
Only real issues presented in this post are that blacks are violent and criminal and unrepentant and they're destroying the city...oh, and I forgot there's a new one these days, they're racist too. So I guess the solutions have to start with getting rid of blacks, right? |
Yeah. Hardly. I'm quite small. They did love my dress though. |
My white cousin didn't listen to me when I told her not to take the bus to Anacostia for teaching interview. She was yelled at - for blocks - 'why is there a white girl here? Let's get the white girl'. She was terrified and cabbed it back |
