LAMB lottery results

Good luck to everyone on the wait list and everyone still waiting on the common lottery!

Are the approximate 27 available PK3 spots for both campuses?
Anonymous
Yes. 27 is total PK3 spots. It is a very small school.
Anonymous
27 is actually a lot of non-sibling spots for three year olds for a HRCS!

There is more than one HRCS. They may be at #2 but Lamb was #1.

Not that at all. People move because of commute. I may be at LAMB but live next to MV. I still want Spanish immersion, but would rather be at a different location.

Or you might be at a news conference non-immersion like Lee when you wanted immersion.

The mindset that there is a "number 1" or best school is naive. There might be a best for you, but if you want chinese and hate Montessori - LAMB is a horrible fit.

Well it was that for me and at least 4 of my friends. We are all at top 5 charters but applied to LAMB only as it is our #1.

Thanks PPs. We are further down on the list, but the optimist in me is trying to figure out which campus would work best. I can hope right?

agree. and for all the talk of popular names - so so much variety in the list. Even if Jude or Miles is popular, the chance of three of four Miles in a class (which was the case of popular names of yore) is nonexistent.

Also, a lot of older parents with all of those twins. (Either IVF or the ovaries going out in a blaze of glory with all guns firing).

Omfg talk about one more reason it is so inappropriate to publish the full names of all applicants. I would not appreciate reading about a crowd seeing my children's names online and making public comments about my ovaries firing and my being old.

What the hell Betsy, take it down.

Yes! Shame on you LAMB PCS. I don't think any parent gave you permission to add their kid's full name to your website.

Yes, the privacy issues here extend FAR beyond the games of hiding a child's application from their current school.

Too late. That list has been copied and saved many times over by now. I know I have a copy saved on my computer

I didn't get an email from the school about the lottery results being published. Did others? We're in the 500s for PK3 anyway. It's a good expectation setter for the common lottery I suppose.

Same with us!

Last year they did it by initial and DOB. Seems completely a violation of privacy to put them online this way.
