On the DC scene, met President Carter and Amy, Jesse Jackson, VP Gore, Justice O'Connor, Britt Hume, Alan Greenspan.

Got to hang out with Big Bad Voodoo Daddy one night. They were fun.

Got to hang out with George Wendt, James Naughton and Jesse Borego.

Matt Dillon, Jimmy Buffett, couple of Real World cast members from various seasons (not DC though), Michael Stipe (from REM), Taye Diggs when he was in Rent

Did you know Misha Collins (Castiel on "Supernatural")? He was a White House intern around that time, going by his original name, Dmitri Krushnic. I have a mad crush on him.

He borrowed my Vanity Fair magazine (well one of his security guards borrowed it on his behalf)), he gave it back personally, thanked me and told me he knew Elizabeth Hurley and that she was going to be a great mother (she was on the cover of the magazine). Sat in the same row as Gordon Ramsey on a place. He offered to get my bag from overhead when we were getting off. I told him I liked his shows and then we chatted for a few min about from where we were arriving (he was coming from London and me for India). We were going to Vietnam and I think he was going to check on a restaurant. I know there is one more but I can't remember. I also went to HS with a few actors. This was in NYC.

Is Bill Clinton not the most charismatic person ever?

I'm so jealous about Gordon Ramsay. I really want to meet him!

He was really nice. I man asked to take a picture with him in the lounge, he took a few b/c he didn't like the first ones and Gordon was really nice and polite.
He is quite handsome in person.

I am am republican so I am not so easily charmed by Clinton

Clinton really is. I met him briefly at a G20 event when he was President, and I was really struck at how he shook my hand and looked me in the eye and made me feel, for 20 seconds, that he was really interested in knowing me. It was astounding, the amount of charisma he had.

NP here, I met him briefly once too and felt the same way. Like I totally got it. He has something that just doesn't translate on tv.

I worked at a book store in grad school and met Alan Ginsberg and Rosalyn Carter. She was nicer and more polite than he was, which is to be expected.

I remember the 3rd. Not as big a star in all circles but I met James Brown (aka. JB), the sportscaster. We shared a redcap after a late Sunday night train from NYC to DC. We chatted the whole ride to the taxi line. He was so polite and really just a nice, old fashioned gentleman.

Other than the actors I went to HS with (so doesn't really count since they weren't famous then) it seems all my celebrity meetings are transportation related.

My friend was at Harvard teaching while she was a student there, and he said she was haughty and pulled the "Don't you know who I am?" card more than once. He was not impressed.

Ted Kennedy pulled my moms bag out of the overhead on the BOS shuttle after a not so nice interaction with another passenger while boarding. She also had a pretty positive interaction with Mitt Romney on a Boston flight.

Went to college with Liz Phair.

OMG - I love Jimmy Fallon!! Please bump into me someday, Jimmy!!

Have also met Kevin Bacon.

Were you an extra on Buffy?

Or in the Buffy or James Marsters fan club?!
