Has anyone ever met a celebrity?

Do you have a celebrity meeting experience? Please share it, and give us details- at least whether they were nice or rude to you.

I met Brad Goreski, the stylist from Bravo TV. He was outrageously kind. We hugged, we took a picture, we tweeted to each other later. BFFs (not really)!

^That is so cool. Good to know he is kind and nice in person.

I met the Strokes. They were exactly like you would imagine. They smelled like leather and cigarettes, with a hint of weed. This was back in 2005, so it might have changed now. But to a 15 year old me, it was the coolest thing on the planet. All of them were super nice, but SO TALL and so skinny. None of them were under 6 feet, and all of them were lean. Definitely met my expectations.

I met Green Day around year 2000 or so. They were really nice.

I hung out with Jennifer Love Hewitt one night. She's sweet but wasn't the brightest bulb in the chandelier.

I met Terry Bradshaw in an elevator full of men (who were failing at trying to restrain themselves from fawning over him). He was fantastically nice, and we were so engrossed in our conversation we ended up going the wrong way out of the elevator with his handler/manager chasing us.

I also used to live in the same apt. building as Peter Wolf, the lead singer for the J. Geils band, and would see him in the elevator. Didn't really talk to him, though, so can't say whether he is nice or not.

I am hopelessly uncool around celebrities. I met DebORAH Gibson at an event in Las Vegas once. It went something like this!
Me: Oh! Debbie Gibson! I loved you so much in the 4th Grade! <singing> I think we're alone now!
DG: It's DebORAH, and that is a Tiffany song.

I also met my free pass Vince Vaughn on my birthday at a restaurant in Chicago. Here we go:
Me: Um, Vince? I loved you in that one movie? (yes, I said that) It's my birthday? Do you want to do a shot with me?
VV: <looks at me like I have 3 heads> Uh, happy birthday baby. Leaves bar in a hurry.

Sigh.

I walked past Jamie Dornan in NYC this past summer. I nearly walked into the next building- he was so unbelievably gorgeous. Seriously- I have never seen a man who looked that good. The only word for it was "beautiful"- he took my breath away. And I was not really a fan before and still am not. But I recognized him, and OMG. It was like seeing a god among mortals. Just human perfection. I can totally see now why he was in 50 shades, even though the camera doesnt do him justice.

Aw. it stinks when celebs are rude. Especially someone like Vince who seems like such a fun guy. Oh well.

I was dancing in a bar in Dallas about two years ago, and this guy came up to my friend and I and asked us if we would be interested in meeting Cuba Gooding Jr. I was kind of shocked because Dallas doesnt get too many celebs but my friend didnt even know who he was . (We are both in our twenties and friend isnt that involved in pop culture). We asked him what was going on and he said Cuba was in the back but he knew we were just his type and he would like us. We turned him down but later that night it was announced that he was at the bar. Pretty sad that he was trolling Dallas bars for 20-something ass, in my opinion. i think he's married.

Bill Murray in a bar/restaurant in 2008 after the inauguration. He's described as reclusive and what not, but he was very nice and friendly to me and my friend.

I have never heard of half the people on this thread.

Aim higher, people.
