Now, that you've gotten the looters out of your system, what say you about the peaceful protesters who want change? Hmm....nothing? Thought so. |
The sign maker is smarter than you. African slave trade began, sometime in the 1500's. African's were being enslaved long before there was an America. |
Yeah, enjoy your felony and trying to get a job, idiot! |
| They are not really hurting the shopkeepers if they are propery insured. Clearly, you guys do not remember that in the Rodney King riots, a few shop owners were prosecuted for burning down their own stores for the insurance. |
No offense, but if you do that it is because you wanted to dimiss it all along. Becuase your view fails to acknowledge the 100 days of peaceful protest that took place there - by many Black and Whites. |
That's funny! Were you aware that Jesse Jackson was heckled out of Ferguson? Or that they asked Sharpton not to come back after the funeral? The folks you see on TV do NOT speak for the people on the ground. Perhaps, you should learn who the protestors are who have been peaccefully protesting for over 100 days. They are Black and Whites - many with college degrees. |
Copied from another thread: "Finally and do not mean to stoke any fires here (no pun intended). But people need to realize that the MLK/Gandhi “turn the other cheek” generation is dying off and no longer in control of the grassroots movements in this country (they ran Jesse Jackson out of Ferguson). People focus on the looters, but the peaceful protests in Ferguson that have been going on for over 100 days have been led by young, educated AA’s and Whites who are savvy in social media, tenacious, and are willing to be peacefully confrontational and ask tough questions. The so called AA “leaders” are not in charge anymore." "A riot is the language of the unheard." - Martin Luther King, Jr. |
Many of the protestors stood in front of buildings to try to keep looters out of the buildings. There were thugs who were there to take advantage of the situation, but they weren't part of the protest movement.
|
YES!!! Become the police officers and the politicians. |
Maybe because every one of them turned into looters at the first chance to do so? There is no legitimate movement here. It's just a mob of violent thugs. |
|
Have a look at the picture in 12:37. Really look at it. Peaceful protestors. Men, a woman, black, white, and possibly Asian? Point being that it is a mixed group, trying to do something positive.
Let's see some focus on that. |
PP here - I wasn't talking about when the slavery started. I was just surprised AAs still talk about slavery like that happened yesterday. Looking back and constantly crying "we are the victims" won't help anyone. You CAN'T stay stuck in history! You need to move on. |
First: Please have a look at the process. Wilson was never cross-examined by the prosecutor. His grand jury testimony differed sharply from his police interview questions on several key issues. Second: Why does one half of the country need to "get over it" and accept this flawed non-indictment as gospel when the other half of the country thinks that the NINTH investigation into Benghazi is the one that will finally reveal the "truth"? |
flawed or not, that's the law. remember OJ case? |
