Yes! Good call, I'm glad someone said something. I can't wait until she comes back to enlighten us. I bet her pores do the open and close because of the psoriasis!

Life was so simple before DCUM. Who knew there were all these things to worry about. Someone needs to do a manual.

You are misinformed. 17 minutes at the very least.

Citation please.

I've had a terrible day and this thread is like a life saver. Cannot stop laughing. This is up there with the thread started by a woman who was throwing a baby shower for someone very famous who she wouldn't name, and she was irate that Georgetown cupcakes wouldn't rent her a cake stand. I don't think I've laughed this hard since that thread!!

And yes it's because your pores are open. I have no idea why that is but my mother freaked out when I took ds out at 3 months with no hat.....some of the other stuff you wouldn't believe!

I struggled with our south American nanny about this. She would bundle the baby up in the dead of summer. I work from home and had to demand he only be in a onesie. She was convinced i was killing him. She was sincerely distraught and worried. Visibly disturbed That i would not bundle him in August.I'm convinced that when she took him out of the house she smuggled hats and sweaters out with her and wrapped my poor sweaty baby up.. I'm sure she prayed the rosemary each night for him. I'm sure she thinks its a miracle he has made it 4 years without dying of pneumonia.

Changing someone's mind about this is like telling them evolution is the truth

I know it's a typo but I like the visual of praying the rosemary.

And you kept her? That is NOT someone you should have employed as a nanny. OMG.

Anonymous wrote:OP is correct; it is a proven fact that going out into the cold immediately after a warm bath is not healthy.

That's why you should take the time to dry off and put on some clothes before you go outside. You should never go outside immediately after a bath/shower no matter what the water temp was or what the air temp is. Clothes first, as another PP pointed out.

I have never heard of anything like this.

Unless you took a steam bath in a sauna, your pores should be just fine to go outside OP.

How many times do you count each finger?
