Is this bikini appropriate for a 37 year old woman?

Appropriate is what feels and looks right to you. Forget what others think.

Personally I love that bikini - go for it!

This thread is making me sad. Being fit is so important to your health and I assume if you are on here, you are a mother. 30 minutes a day and watching what you eat, unless you have health problems, should be all that it takes for most people to be fit. Is there an aesthetic inspiration, as well? Of course, and wearing a bikini can be a kind of reward. My SIL is 60, she rocks a conservative bikini. Her figure is slim to average, small waisted and slightly heavy, but toned legs, so this style looks best on her. She's my inspiration because she is healthy and works to stay in shape.

I don't care for the pattern, but if you have the figure/confidence to wear this style then go for it, OP.

I am 46 years old. I look better in a bikini and will wear a bikini until I want to stop. God Bless you poor souls who feel the need to conform to some outdated rules. You should be spending much less time looking at others doing harmless things and focus on your own hangups. Perhaps therapy might be in order.

If you've got it, flaunt it!

Update, OP?

I have nothing against bikinis, but don't any of you care about protection from the sun? I hate that feeling of the scorching sun practically sizzling my skin (even with sun screen), and personally prefer rash guards on top, with regular bottoms or sometimes shorts.

I don't spend much time at a pool though, most of my time is spent being active in the water at the beach, or out of the water playing frisbee, etc.

AMEN SISTA!

The other hags sound like they live in McLean. Little do they know, everyone laughs at THEM.

We need to see a photo of you before we can decide if this bikini is appropriate or not.

Anybody who wants to wear a bikini should do it. Unless you are showing lady parts and being obscene, you should wear what you want to wear.

I really like it. I am 42 and would wear absolutely wear it.

I think people like you should not walk the earth, but would you jump off a cliff? Who cares.

What people forget is that making a suit like this work for a 37 year old woman who presumably has had kids goes beyond her being simply "fit." OP, be honest. How's the cellulite? Saggy knees? Poofy stomach? Skinny arms? Vericose veins? Any of these can start appearing at your age and would kill a suit like this.
