Was your kid born in the 1960's? Because that's the only excuse I can think of for such horrid parenting. These are our CHILDREN and clearly if you didn't care about them enough in utero to care for them properly, I can hardly imagine you'd be the kind of parent to foster academic success in the long term.

My mom drank and smoke throughout her pregnancy with me and I went to Harvard. Think how much I could have achieved if she had eaten organically instead!

PP, clearly your mother drank lighter fluid when she was pregnant with you. Get a clue and a sense of humor please.

You should have continued to breast feed him and fed him only organic food. Now he's just going to be average.

Your child has brought nothing but shame on your household, and should prepare for life in the civil service.

My mother lives with our family and cooks all-organic ethnic food, also does all the housework so I can focus on organizing tutoring, test-prep camp, Kumon and karate. I will have failed as a mother if my children don't get into AAP!

Yes - but you didn't get into Yale. Shame!!!

There's this guy in Vienna named "Syd" who sells test answer sheets. The path to the Ivy League is just a scant $500 and knowing how to "paint by numbers." If our darling Hunter gets that scholarship, we'll cash in his 529 to add a solarium to the side our our house.

Studies show that Kumon can actually lower a test by 10%!

Impossible! Preparation is the key to success in all endeavors. Just ask Peyton Manning.

Oh. I have a sense of humor. But I just can't sit by and let this kind of parenting be approved. What is the saying, "silence implies consent"? With all we know about toxins not only in cigarettes and alcohol, but also in our water, soil and air, to willingly and, seemingly, gleefully ingest POISON while PREGNANT is abusive.

I have to step away from this post now. It is making me too upset to think of all the abused and neglected gifted children in our midst.

And, yes you have seriously failed as a parent if your child does not get into AAP like my sweet daughter did!

Our son tried to bring in a ouija board into the test room, but the proctor kicked him out. Now my husband's law firm is suing for religious discrimination.
