Sorry to create a millionth thread on the same topic.
I heard some people have already started receiving letters. If you have already received, please tell us School name, if it's in-pool letter or FxAt scores. So, others having kids in the same school can expect theirs pretty soon. School Name: In-Pool letter Received: Yes or No FxAt scores Received: Yes or No |

School Name: Westbriar ES
In-Pool letter Received: No FxAt scores Received: No We got the following email from school last night: CogAT and NNAT CogAT and NNAT scores have not yet been received. However, they will be mailed home by the end of January. AAP Screening Pool and Referral Process If your student is in the 2nd grade screening pool, you will be notified by mail within the next few days. Students who are not in the 2nd grade pool will not be notified. Test results from fall administration of the CogAT are still expected to reach families via mail by the end of January. Second grade students who are not in the initial screening pool and students in grades 3-7 may be referred for Level IV screening by completing and submitting the Level IV Referral Form and optional materials to the school's main office no later than February 3, 2014. This is a one-page document and there will be no exceptions to this deadline. Parents of students in the 2nd grade pool and parents of students who are referred are encouraged to submit optional materials according to the guidelines in the Parent Information Packet as important information to be considered in the screening file. The deadline for optional materials is February 3, 2014. |
| Why is it only some schools that provide emails/info to parents regarding this process and when to expect some information? Our school has not said word one about it-seems patently unfair!!! |
| What difference does it make if you get an email or not? The emails basically say, "check your mailbox" and we know you are doing that obsessively anyway. |
