Do you ever wear your fur coat?

Anonymous
I see tons on women in Chevy Chase and Georgetown in fur coats. I am too young to wear fur and find it cruel.

I have a mink and a fox. I wear them on really cold days. Love them!

Fur is cruel and disgusting. Check your values. Refuse to remain ignorant.

I have a shearling. My mom has tons of mink coats but she's in New York and it's much more common there.

I wouldn't spend the money on one. I think they look kind of obnoxious. Get a shearling. They cost a lot but keep you really warm.

When I lived in NYC, my mom got me one when she realized I would not wear a fur coat. It was about $3,000 but I've had it for 10 years and it's amazing.

Think about it.
Say NO to FUR!

I said yes.

+1!

I think this would be a much more productive forum if we could get rid of the fur haters. Got it. You hate fur. Loud and clear. Now onto the rest of us.

I don't hate fur...when it's on the animal it belongs on. Fur wearers, on the other hand...what a bunch of sick losers.

I agree that fur is cruel, but no crueler than leather or eating meat. Don't be a hypocrite!

I've got a beautiful fur jacket from the 60's. It's probably the most flattering thing I own, but I've never worn it because I don't know where to wear it! We never go anywhere fancy, plus my husband is in the "Gross. It's a dead animal." camp. I do get a little sad when I see it.
I'm a little weirded out by the cage-lining post. If a cat smelled fox, wouldn't the cat be scared? If a dog smelled rabbit or fox, wouldn't the dog want to hunt it? Whenever I wear my Irish wool sweater, my dog won't stop sniffing an looking for the sheep!

Sounds like its time to go shopping.

It's such a dated look. Reminds me of women who were probably the ish in the 80s, but are still rocking the same haircut from that era. Very few women can pull off fur and make it look edgy (Rihanna maybe?).
